LACHS 5 upgrade streamlines claims handling

The software has been re-built from the ground up, providing a state-of-the-art tool for claims handling professionals. JCAD has announced LACHS 5, the latest version of its LACHS claims handling software.

The upgrade has taken a team of engineers more than three years to complete and involved rebuilding the system from the ground up. In addition, the user interface has been updated, giving it a modern look while maintaining a sense of familiarity compared to previous versions.

A range of new features will be available with LACHS 5, including interactive dashboards, task lists, image processing, email facilities and document handling. An innovative previewer has also been added, making it easy to see documents without having to open a file. LACHS 5 will help claims managers streamline workflows and speed up processes. The re-built platform will also enable further development in the future. In fact, JCAD is already working on a location mapping feature and a web-based application for remote and home-based workers.

Commenting on the upgrade, Damian Crawford, managing director at JCAD, said: “LACHS 5 demonstrates a natural progression in technology. We are excited to share the end result of 3 years development with our customers and prospects – a user-friendly claims handling system which boasts the freshest and newest features on the market. We are now in a position to continue building upon this new platform to bring further innovations to our clients.”

Early roll-out of the system is currently underway with live implementation taking place over the coming months.
