As part of the initial process we would ask that an implementation plan be drawn up and agreed to by all parties. This plan includes various milestones to which we will work towards to ensure a successful and timely installation.

Data Migration


We pride ourselves in being able to faithfully migrate any data from any system into JCAD LACHS. We have over 13 years experience of performing data migrations from many different systems including independent software suppliers and insurer/broker systems, as well as spreadsheets and in-house databases. Systems that we have migrated from include, OMEGA™, QLAS™, Figtree Systems™, Inform™, Logotech™, ARIS™.

Data Cleansing


During the data migration process we perform a data auditing/cleansing service to ensure that the information held within JCAD LACHS is of the highest quality. We can also provide this service to existing customers where we will audit the quality of data held within JCAD LACHS and advise/clean-up areas for improvement.

Speed of Implementation


One of our major objectives during implementation is to ensure that the user is actively using the system from day one. Many systems require a lengthy implementation and setup cycle that can reduce a client’s productivity in the early days.

JCAD LACHS is extremely user friendly and intuitive. Capitalising on the look and feel of the Microsoft Office applications the user is immediately given a familiar interface to use. The system has the reputation of being comprehensive without being complex.

Extensive on-site support is provided at implementation time by JCAD staff, during which all areas of functionality are covered.

Customisation

Both the LACHS and RISK applications require a certain amount of customisation to be undertaken by us prior to going live.

For LACHS we require that the client provides cause, blame, damage and injury tables as well as the organisational/reporting structure. This is then setup with the database.

For RISK this goes a stage further. As each clients risk strategy is slightly different we use a range of factors to tailor the system to meet their needs, for instance;

  - Probability/impact grid

  - Organisational structure

  - Corporate plan

  - Measures

  - Terminology

  - Table structures, e.g. nature of risk
