JCAD LACHS -
Additional Modules
Asset Register
The asset register provides the facility for recording and maintaining properties, contents and motor vehicles. The asset register integrates directly with the claims portfolio to provide sophisticated claims analysis by property / vehicle.
Premium Apportionment
The annual apportionment of premiums is a major task. This is made easy with the Premium Apportionment module using claims experience, departmental information and asset register details to aid the insurance manager to apportion insurance premiums across the organization.
Triangulation and Fund Modeling
Triangulation Reports provide a year on year claims experience over a given period. This information may be used by the Fund Modeling system to give the Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) claims costs based upon previous years’ claims experience.
The Fund Modeling system then uses a variety of claims data reports to calculate the expected yearly costs based upon differing levels of deductibles / premiums.
EDI – Electronic Data Interchange
JCAD LACHS uses the EDI Module to read and interpret information provided by external insurer or claims handler database systems. The information is used to automatically update the claims held on JCAD LACHS with changes in reserve, payment or claim status.
Gazetteer and GIS Integration
JCAD LACHS can integrate with the organization's NLPG (National Land and Property Gazetteer) for access to address information. Complying with BS 7666 standards information is recorded at a UPRN (Unique Property Reference Number) level. This may then be used to provide information to an organisation’s GIS (Geographic Information System) to enable statistical plotting of information on geographical maps.
