EDI – Electronic Data Interchange
Claims are often processed by insurers or brokers on behalf of an organisation. In some circumstances claims are paid directly through an imprest account. In order to ensure that claim status and financial position is kept up-todate and accurate, the claim data is usually passed back to the client and entered manually. This can be a time consuming process which can be streamlined through the use of the EDI procedures.
