Accessible Central Repository
The JCAD Action Tracker provides a central repository for all actions, activities, reports and recommendations that can be accessed by everyone in the organisation. Supporting documentation and correspondence can be recorded against the appropriate action ensuring that all information is stored in one place. A range of user levels, from view only to full administrator, allows for relevant actions to be viewed and edited by the right employees. Permission settings can be imposed to enable access to just individual business units.
Devolve Ownership
With regards to audit, the implementation of recommendations can be effectively managed by assigning relevant recommendations to the individuals or managers who will carry out the actual work within the organisation. Personnel can review and update their progress towards completion of their recommendations in 'real time' via the web. Automatic email reminders let auditees and owners of actions know when an existing recommendation is due, overdue or updated and also when a new recommendation is asigned to them.
Customisation
The layout, terminology and internal dropdowns as well as the privileges that individual users have can all be customised to your own organisation's requirements. Data can also be grouped in a variety of user defined views for simple report filtering purposes.
Utlising Existing IT Infrastructure
The automatic email reminders utilise Microsoft Outlook so there is little required from your IT department. Other documents such as spreadsheets, word docs etc can also be stored. The Action Tracker enables users to generate a wide range of reports either through the online grid tool or through the production of Crystal reports. Reports can be run on a whole range of combinations and additional custom reports can also be designed to the organisation's requirements.
